So, I was sitting here watching Matt Hasselbeck and the Seattle Seahawks straight handle the Saints and I wonder, is Matt Hasselbeck's wife Elisabeth Hasselbeck from The View?
Apparantly, there were a lot of you thinking the same thing Saturday evening as searches for "Matt Hasselbeck wife" began trending on Google.
So the answer to who is Matt Hasselbecks' wife...is his college sweetheart, Sarah Egnaczyk. They were married on June 17, 2000 and are still married. The two knew one another since age 17 and both were athletes at Boston College. Matt played football while Sarah was into field hockey. Matt and Sarah Hasselbeck have two daughters, Annabelle and Mallorie and a son, Henry.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck's husband is Tim Hasselbeck, ESPN analyst /retired QB. There is a relation however, Tim is Matt's younger brother and their father, Don Hasselbeck was a former New England Patriots tight end.
Matt Hasselbeck's name is trending because he went up against the defending Super Bowl Champions in the NFC Playoffs tonight. The Seahawks won 41-36 and "pulled off one of NFL's biggest playoff upsets".
You can check out Elizabeth Hasselbeck on the "The View" weekdays 9/10am CST on CBS.
